New Online Banking Security Feature

Over the past few weeks, all Credit Unions have implemented a new security feature with the MemberDirect online banking system. This has been put in place to ensure that your account and your personal information is kept safe and protected.

It is VERY important to note that after putting in your account number and 5 digit access code, you MUST click the "I'm not a robot" feature and wait for the green checkmark, BEFORE hitting the login button.


 

This is a legitimate security feature!

If you fail to check off this box, it will result in an error and have 3 attmepts you will be locked out of your online banking.

If this happens, you must wait 24 hours and try again. If you would like your 5 digit access code reset, please call us at the branch (902) 424-5712 and we can assist you with that.

In addition to this new feature, you may also be prompted to select certain images that fit a certain theme.

For example:

Please select all images where you see a bridge (see below) You would then check off each box where you see a bridge and then proceed to login.




We understand that these new security features can be "annoying" at times, but please be assured they are put in place to protect your accounts and your personal information from virtual attackers and at this time, they will be kept in place.

Registering your computer for faster logins

You can speed up the login process by opting to register your computer.  When you log in from a registered computer, you don't have to answer a security question before entering your PAC.

Registering your home or personal computer is highly recommended for faster logins. You should not register shared or public computers.

Cookies are used to identify registered computers. If you clear your cookies, you will have to re-register your computer.
